Getting Started
- How to Order:
Easy. Call us, email us, fax us directly, or contact your local sales representative / distributor. We also work with customer MRP, JIT forecast and online supplier e-KanBan and portal systems. Every order is reviewed and promptly acknowledged.
- Application Assistance:
Ensign's application engineers are available to assist you in selecting the best product for your requirements. For technical information on standard catalog products or application assistance on your custom requirements, simply contact Ensign direct or your local representative.
General Information
- Quotations & Pricing:
Ensign honors all written quotations for a full 30 days from the date of the quotation. Prices are FOB Bellevue, Iowa unless otherwise indicated. All prices listed are for domestic shipments only with a lead time of stock to 14 weeks depending on availability. Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. Domestic and offshore manufactured pricing may vary. Federal, state, and local taxes are not included and will be added where applicable. Additional charges may apply for rush orders and special handling. Non-stock and custom products will incur non refundable engineering charges. Export orders will incur an additional $50.00 handling charge. Some part numbers may require minimum order quantity (MOQ).
- Discounts:
Ensign offers liberal discounts for quantity purchases. Contact Ensign or your local sales representative/distributor for details.
- Samples
No charge samples can be granted if standard product total cost does not exceed $10.00 and samples will be used as prototypes with future business opportunity. Additional samples of standard products have a minimum $50.00 minimum order requirement. Custom transformer samples will incur a minimum of $150.00 lot charge for two samples. Lot charge may vary depending on sample complexity, power rating, engineering time and materials required. Sample prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. Customer is responsible for shipping charges.
- Shipping & Delivery:
Ensign is committed to delivering every order on time. Stock items are shipped within 3 days. Contact us for current lead time of other items. We “flex” when your production schedule changes. We ship via surface freight, pre-pay & add, unless otherwise instructed.
- Smaller shipments via UPS, FedEx, DHL or similar courier
- Larger shipments via insured motor

- Terms:
Payments are to be remitted in U.S. dollars. Net 30 days, subject to credit approval. Credit card orders accepted, subject to prior approval. Pre-engineered items ordered in error are subject to a 25% re-stocking charge. Orders for custom and customized pre-engineered items are not returnable for credit.
- Warranty:
Ensign warrants its products against defective materials and/or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of shipment to the original purchaser.
Products that have been misused, improperly installed, or subjected to conditions beyond specified ratings are not included.
Ensign's obligation under this warranty is limited to servicing, adjusting or replacing product returned to factory for that purpose, and does not include penalties, cost of down time etc.
We reserve the right to change or improve our products without notice, and without obligation to incorporate such changes or improvements on previously manufactured products.
